Philippe Gaborit obtained his PhD in Mathematics from the University of Bordeaux I, France, in 1997. After a two years post-doc position at the University of Illinois at Chicago, he became associate professor in 1999 at the University of Limoges, France, then he became full professor in Computer Science at the University of Limoges in 2008. His main research interests are: cryptography, coding theory, privacy, security and watermarking. He is the author of 4 patents and more than 60 international journal and conference papers on these subjects..

Antoine Joux is a French cryptographer, one of the three 2013 Gödel Prize laureates, specifically cited for his paper A one round protocol for tripartite Diffie-Hellman. He was associate professor at the Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and researcher in the CRYPT team of the laboratory of computer science PRISM of CNRS, currently he is Chair of Cryptology of the Fondation partenariale of UPMC, professeur associé at the Laboratoire d'informatique de Paris 6, and Senior Crypto-Security Expert at CryptoExperts.
